A Poem For Those of You Who Thought You'd Never Fall In Love Again
You left your spirit on my bedsheets
and
for 40 days and 40 nights I laid--
And now you're all over me.
You're in my hair,
in my eyes,
on my skin,
in my teeth.
You're even in my breath
and now it's hard to breathe--
Today I pray that you'll notice that I'm wearing you.
And though I try to run I can't
because you're on my shoulders.
I can only sit--and cry--
and I know why.
Because I am falling in love again.
